Proper Mowing
Above is a picture from two yards that we provide lawn service to. The yard on the right is mowed every week at 3 to 3.5 inches and clippings are not bagged. The yard on the left is mowed every two weeks at 2 inches and clippings are bagged. Neither yard receives any lawn care such as weed control or fertilization.
Amount of Weeds
Notice the amount of weeds, bare spots and lighter turf color on the left. The yard on the right has significantly fewer weeds, thick and bright green turf. Simple cultural practices such as proper mowing can vastly improve your lawn's overall health.
