We hear lots of times “I love your name! How did you choose that?”. The answer to that is our story. In 2008 the “Great Recession” was in full swing. Corporate jobs were in jeopardy. Having been in and around construction my entire life, my wife and I felt it was in our family’s best interest for me to venture full time in home repair. At the time, new home construction was almost non-existent. We felt the remodeling and repair aspect would be in high demand. Luckily it was. The next 2 years were successful but somehow we found ourselves getting more and more requests for outdoor projects. Most of those requests started with “Im desperate to find a contractor to do this.”. So in 2011 we shifted completely to landscaping and changed our business structure. And thus, Desperate Landscapes and Lawn Care was born. No, we are not desperate, but the landscapes we tackle, many times are. Our name also is an insight into our mission and core values. We want to help our clients and solve their problems. Our story is still being written. Every yard or project we do affects the lives of our customers. Our story is their story as well.
